Starting to look like a house

Upstairs is really starting to come together, after several years of work going on behind the scenes - insulation, electrics, sub flooring and so on it is now that slowly upstairs is starting to look like a habitable space. Last week Gavin (our eco builder)...

Happy Halloween

A Halloween party to attend - I can make some fancy dress costumes I thought. I found old fleece dressinggowns at the second hand store in grey, brown and white - I like fleece as there is no hemming to do! So I askedthe kids what they wanted to be and...

What grows in the garden at the moment?

The lack of rain is really beginning to show everywhere at the moment, the goats area (where she can reach) has been mowed short and is like a cricket pitch - very little to eat for her, the hedges have been stripped bare so no blackberries on that patch...

MMR for Rivan

MMR vaccination for Rivan today, he was meant to have this when he was 12 months old but the doctor not happy to give it to him while he still had the lumps behind his ears and in his groin. These now gone, we dropped Ruby off at school and then headed...
