Nearly 1st December

A sad empty holiday village

“That’s too loud for my ears” was the noise I woke to (above the crying of Rivan) as I sat having a pee this morning. Rivan spotted me getting out of bed to go to the bathroom and started crying, woke Ruby and she came out of her room cross at the noise....

Girls night out - much needed

No crèche today for Rivan (yesterday a bank holiday and then they have taken today as a holiday also to make it a long weekend). It was nice spending the afternoon with the kids, despite the weather – I stupidly thought that I would ignore the weather...

Quinoa for the first time!

Been looking at alternatives to the traditional rice and pasta for us to eat, the kids will eat some potatoes but they are not a daily part of their diet. Their favourite is definitely pasta and you can now get some really good pasta’s made from vegetables...

Lots of washing to do today as Rivan sick again twice in the night – don’t you just hate it when everything is clean and you have just put them down to go back to sleep when sick comes again! Finally got to bed at 2.30 with one load in the wash and another...

MMR for Rivan

MMR vaccination for Rivan today, he was meant to have this when he was 12 months old but the doctor not happy to give it to him while he still had the lumps behind his ears and in his groin. These now gone, we dropped Ruby off at school and then headed...
